1. Who is responsible

Silahub Technologies Inc. operates SilaTrail. We are accountable for the personal information under our control. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to hello@silatrail.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect account and profile information, business workspace details, receipts and financial records you choose to store, trip and vehicle records, contractor and invoice details, subscription and billing status, support communications, and technical information needed to operate and secure the service.

Payment-card details are handled by Stripe. SilaTrail receives payment and subscription records such as customer, plan and status information, rather than complete card numbers.

3. Why we use it

We use information to create and secure accounts, provide recordkeeping features, process subscriptions, send requested service messages, respond to support, prevent abuse, diagnose problems and improve the product. We do not sell personal information.

4. Service providers and transfers

We use service providers including Supabase for authentication, database and file storage; Vercel for website and application hosting and Web Analytics; Google Analytics and Meta Pixel on the public marketing website; Stripe for subscription billing; and Resend for service email. These providers may process information in Canada, the United States or other countries where they operate, where it may be subject to local law. Google and Meta may process marketing-site information under their own privacy terms.

5. Analytics

The public marketing website uses Google Analytics, Meta Pixel and Vercel Web Analytics to measure page visits, referrals, campaign performance and navigation or call-to-action events. These services may receive browser or device identifiers, IP-derived approximate location, pages and referrers, interaction events, and cookies or similar technologies. They are not loaded in the authenticated SilaTrail application or Android app. Marketing analytics events must not contain receipt content, names, email addresses or financial records. You can limit these technologies through browser/device settings and the controls offered by Google and Meta.

6. Retention and deletion

You can request account deletion inside SilaTrail or at silatrail.com/delete-account. Verified requests normally complete within 30 days after ownership, subscription and legal-retention blockers are resolved. Account-only data and eligible private files are deleted; shared Business records remain available to other authorized users and may be anonymized rather than erased. Records that must be preserved for law, audit, fraud prevention or a dispute are access-restricted for the applicable period. Canadian business records are generally retained for six years from the end of the last tax year they relate to. Minimal deletion-request audit metadata is retained for 24 months after completion. Deleted data may remain in restricted provider backups until the configured backup cycle expires.

7. Safeguards

We use access controls, tenant isolation, encrypted connections and service-provider safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your password private and contact us if you believe your account has been compromised.

8. Your choices and rights

You may ask to access or correct your personal information, withdraw consent where applicable, or request deletion, subject to legal and operational limits. We verify identity before completing deletion and do not reveal whether an email address is registered through the public request process.

9. Children

SilaTrail is intended for business owners and authorized business users. It is not directed to children under 16.

10. Changes

We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. We will publish the revised date and provide additional notice when a change materially affects how personal information is handled.
